Well I finally took the dangerous leap and ordered my first piece of L glass, expecting delivery shortly 
however I'm worried that i've crossed a line and will never want anything other than 'L' 
I predict that within 6 months I'll be wanting to replace the Tamron 17-50 2.8 with something far more expensive! I've ordered the 70 - 200 f4L btw.
I'm going to guess that I'm not alone though
