I had for my D70s a smashing holster type shoulder bag, it just took the camera plus up to my 18-70mm a small pocket to house extra battery and flash diffuser with an extra card,perfect for the quick run out.
Having just changed to a D200 with battery grip I have been looking for hours to find similar without success,and I think that I am a bit of a Internet sleuth.
Should anyone be able to point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

I have had another look at the Lowepro range, there is the Toploader pro 65 which will meet the needs, but not the pocket at £50.00 plus it is way out of reach at the moment.

How about THIS one

I have one and it's a cracker. Takes my 40d and a 70-200 f4L plus all the little bits. it also takes the 40D + 55-250 IS and a nifty 50 or 18-55 in the bottom part for hiking. It's a VERY good price too!
 
I paid a visit to Warehouse Express, with a similar dilemma. More camera bags than you can shake a stick at on display of all descriptions. Came away with a small KATA DC437, for my D90/Nikon 18-70, not a holster type, but very small, fits in my man bag, there are a number in the range.

As I say, a whole wall full on display! . . . CJS

I think this is a great suggestion. Saw some on their stand at Focus and they have options with extendable sections to accomodate longer lens. Great quality as well.
 
Many thanks for all the suggestions, I have looked at most, but cannot find the ideal item as yet, the nearest appears to be the Lowepro 65 AW top loader, but I cannot stretch to the price:(
 
f-stop will also be releasing some new gear sometime this year which will include holsters however, they are expensive but the products are top notch.

Hello all who replied,
I have solved my dilemma at a low cost, I have and use a messenger type bag for protected items,I like the bag, black unassuming and you would not think what was inside, it is just a space no compartments, so I found a product called a Neoprene blanket and when searching found several on EB at around £10-12, so going a bit deeper on the search I found a worldwide listed seller with UK stock on £4.99 post free, it arrived in two days and is brilliant.
I wrapped the D200 in the blanket and with the room left place in my pouched lenses and flash, no metal to metal contact and it looks great when you uncover the camera on site.
I like it.
