I can't believe the difference!

I treated myself to a new monitor today - nothing special as the budget was a bit tight (its only an HP 2310i) but WOW!

I now realise how rubbish my old one was (it was 10 yrs old and a PC world cheapy).


I'm now an addict of wide screen and the colours are amazing plus the higher resolution has made soooo much difference.

sorry pointless post I'm just so pleased- I was dreading plugging it in and not noticing any difference

LOL I know the feeling, I bought the same monitor & found it great, but when I moved to an IMac felt I wanted to tell everyone

I have that monitor but never used it. Maybe i should get it out and try it

well certainly compared to my very old one it's made an amazing difference when viewing on screen, I've just got to print some shots to check the calibration and then maybe invest in some calibration software if necessary

can anyone recomend any calibration software that isn't too pricey?
