After winning £700 in a photography competion I sold my 85mm AF-D and ordered a 85mm f1.4G,

Well it is finaly here sitting on my desk!

My wife is fed-up with me taking photos of her doing the dishes.

I can't wait to take it ouit and shoot some proper pictures!

I haven't been this excited about a photography toy since I got the D700.

That's a dangerous thing to do, the last time I let my girlfriend use my camera she took better pictures than me

Yeah the 135mm f2 is on my "lust list" (Lenses I want but know I wouldn't actuly carry around and use!

But it is my main motivation for keeping the D300 as the 85mm is nearly 135mm.
