Looks a bit pheasant ish, but the black ones have a greenish hue and a red head. Unusual! Where did you see it?

They're still there, here's one of them I took on Saturday.

Apparently you can hear their mating call up to 2 miles away, although I visit Slimbridge several times a month and for several years, I still haven't heard them!
