Critique I don’t know what berry this is

I took this picture at my high school because the equal amount of lighting and shade but don’t know what berry this is.

As you may know this is mainly a UK based forum with a few international members.

So, with such 'can you help ID' type questions it is best to say where in the world the plant or animal has been seen? As in the country and where in general geographic terms whereabouts in that country.

I have done some googling and though the leaves and berry colour don't look 100% like reference (most show & mention red berries and oval leaves as opposed to your orangey berries and more pointed leaves ~ one feature is the scaley underside of the leaves) I had found it has similarities to the:-

Canada Buffalo Berry
Latin name Shepherdia canadensis

Originally as its name implies native to North America. But Shepherdia sp. plants are sold here in the UK
