i don't know what website to use...

Basically I'd like to set up my own photography website, i've had a go at a few in the past but haven't yet found a website builder that works fully.

My problem is I have no money to be able to pay for one so would need the best one I could get for free that would also allow me to have my own URL that hasn't got .moonfruit etc...

If anyone could help that would be brilliant...

Domain names are a few quid a year, hosting can be got from many of the companies for £2-£5 a month. If you have a mac, iweb is free and pretty good.

What is it that the builders dont do for you?

I know a few people who have used joomla (http://www.joomla.org/). This is fairly easy to use and has loads of add on freebie utilities for photo browsing etc. They also give you options to link to the hosting sites.

One.com are cheap and in some circumstances, free.

I have just got myself a Zenfolio account, after looking for a year or so I decided this was by far the best and easy option for me http://www.zenfolio.com/
