I do like it, not a big fan of photoshop alterations but its good.
There seemes to be a big shadow on the first boat though and my eye was distracted by that at first.
 
might of helped as well if the fence was cloned out as this distracts.

Well Im glad you DID do it!! Its lovely. Minor niggle...maybe crop a tad off the stones at the bottom to bring the boat down a bit and show off the sky.
 
Good composition. Not 100% sure on the B&W but then i am a big fan of colour, having said that the boats themselves look really good.

Yes it is Derwent Water well done hotchef!

I was up there working last week and managed to grab 1/2 hour at the lakeside. Unfortunately that meant midday and some really bad light for photography. Hence the buggering about in photoshop, I was determined to get something out of it!
