I feel really stupid askin but....

I have been using PS for quite a while now but never actually printed anything.

I want to print B&W A4 pic but i'm getting a little confused. I have set the document size to 210*297 but what pixel dimension do i need? and i'm not sure about bilinear and bicubic etc... what is best for me?

Also is pixels per inch the same as dots per inch??

any help would be appreciated :razz:

You don't need to change the size of the document at all.

Select print, choose A4 paper and then select the scaling for the image so it fills the page or leaves just a bit of border.

Most digital camera images aren't the same aspect ratio as A4 so either you print to fill the page and lose a bit of the image or print to fit the paper and trim the white edges off.
