You guys probably use something already, but figured it might come in handy for someone...
Saw this kneeling pad in Asda this morning for a quid and figured it might come in handy for kneeling down when out and about (Ireland is quite soggy after all...)
Delved into my bits and bobs drawer when I got back and found this neoprene strap I got free from Smugmug.
Bingo!! Shoulder mounted wet knee preventing device for a quid
Tried it this pm on some soggy ground shooting daffodils and it seems water repellent too - the moisture just ran off it.
