Doncha just hate that time between getting something out of the box and waiting until the battery is charged ........... the wilderness hours 
No matter how often you check it the bloomin' thing still says "Charging". Worse still was the time, now gratefully a thing of the past, when you read the words "the battery in this unit will only perform efficiently if fully charged and discharged several times before use" AAAAaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghh!!
