7D in transit special delivery - should be here before 1 ..

Sat here basically molesting my 24-105 waiting for the 7D to show so i can go outside :(

Hardly the RM's fault, it's a 1pm service and it's only 10.40am. If you'd wanted it earlier you should have asked for before 9am delivery...
 
Ive been waiting for a sigma ring flash all week. I havent left the house, as Im physically unable too.

Whats in my letter box this morning..

NO I ****ING WASNT!!

So I go to the redelivery site, and the earliest they can redeliver is Saturday..Marvelous.

Yeah i read your blog - looked brave. - RM are ******s sometimes. Moved into new house in Nov and the postman knocks and runs. I started going outside and yellig down the street for the k*****r to come back. Gave him a mouthful one day about letting me get up off the chair and to the door in less than 0.2 seconds and now he knocks and waits with a smile everytime lol :)
 
Ive actually opened the door when the postman knocked and posted a card before and he was halfway down the path back to his van. He didnt even have the bloody parcel on the van, just put the card straight though the door..

Tis far easier to deliver cards rather than parcels. We wouldn't want the poor souls straining their backs, would we?

Not all. My van driving postie is ace. Always delivers and signs for recorded stuff when I'm out and leaves it in a safe place.

He does do well at Christmas as I always buy him a crate of his favourite tipple.

Aye, mine did that once or twice...

Left it in the recycling box... Outside the font wall of the front garden waitng for the binmen. On binday. Never saw that one again.

Oh and the special delivery item that was left signed for on the front doorstep of the house. Lucky it wasnt a several hundred pound lens...

Ive had this post card through the door a few times, once happened when I was in the kitchen, I heard the card drop, I went to door, then read the card and realised it was the delivery van, I rang the number on it which was his mobile number and had a right go, the guy never rang the bell or knocked on the door, and have had loads of deliveries on this before 1pm deadline, only once has it actually arrived before 1pm :) although to be fair most times its been before 2pm only once was it 4pm on a guaranteed before 1pm delivery, the joys of waiting for the postman

EXCEPT the dozy so and so i bought it from has forgotten to include the power cable for the charger so i have a 7D with a battery i cant charge!!!! :@

Wont it just be a figure-8 or kettle lead? Must have one of those laying around surely. I could make a business out of selling all the ones I have lol.
 
Haha, bummer. Sorry, shouldn't laugh, but thats quite funny, although very harsh.

Get her to send it it next day before 9am at her cost. If she posts today it'll be here tomorrow.
 
and the strap isnt in here :@ £850 for a 7D which in fairness is mint with a spare bat and 2 cards .. she can stick the bat and cards i want a charger and strap lol

i am just stupid

the charger is wierd and wonderful and i have now figured it out .. its not got a normal cable and the battery is in fact charging lol :(

Still no strap! :(
 
Where in the town are you? Got an old canon strap you can have, will get you out of a fix till you get a new one.
 
Ive got a Nikon D700 strap going spare!

Is it one of the one where the pins are in the back of the charger? My 50D one was like that. I had to use an adapter though as it was a US type plug

Danny do yourself a real big favour and buy an Optek Pro classic strap and forget the origional one they cause too much pain and suffering.

If you realy want a Canon one pm me your address and I'll send you a brand new unopened one.

Frustrating as it may be you bought a B grade body not a new unopened one.
