i didnt buy B grade in the end i found another

lady sold me this as on her hols she was left stranded in airport and was playing with cameras and loved the nikon D7000 more than her brand new 7D so shes just sold about 5K worth of kit to buy nikon lol!

+1, my posties are all excellent. All this Royal Mail bashing is well out of order.

To the OP, you had a "delivered by 1pm service" and got it an hour earlier, sounds like good service to me.

The charger should be just a figure of eight lead, unless they have given you a 3rd party charger or an import (even hk imports use figure of eight lead chargers).

BTW you hate Royal Mail because they delivered an hour earlier than contracted?
Suspect you hate them *** they didn't deliver when you wanted them to without paying for it, different thing really ... ;)

Ok, well I was due a D700 today, the RM website said out for delivery, no worries.

Postie came and went. It's to a business address and there's no separate delivery for RMSD, everything goes on the van. I called the sorting office and the woman actually remembered the box and knew for a fact it was on the van, so she said she'd call him.

Twenty minutes later, online tracking said it had been signed for, yet still nothing in my hands! Turns out the kind postie came back, signed for it on my behalf and left it in the communal area of the offices on the ground floor where anyone could have just swiped it. Thankfully I got there first, but I wasn't impressed.

I have to say that I am not quite sure what the OP's problem with RM is. They did meat the agreed deadline. :shrug:

I have seen both sorts of Postie - the one who stared at me through the living room window having just left a "you were not in" card to the one who had to post some A4 sized photos and rather than muller them trying to get them through the letter box, passed them through the living room window and set them down on the sill.
 
My postie drops off mail too big for my letterbox with every Tom, Dick & Harry in the street and can't be bothered putting a card through my door to say he's done it! :annoyed:

Thank goodness I've got honest neighbours :thumbs:
