I have a mac!

At last the day has come... my Birthday where i have decided to buy myself a mac!

The day hasn't all been plain sailing as the first one i bought was faulty :O however this one is sweet as and is running like a nut. I am in love with this back lit keyboard and the battery life is ... well wonderful i have been using it since 5pm on the battery and it still says i have 1.31 left to run and thats using the wireless and installing software.

The only concern i have is that upon installing coconut it says that the mac is 7 weeks old and the battery is at 98% already... should i be worried with this?

I have put Istatpro on her but does anyone else recommend any other software?

I've not used coconut, but I use the iStat pro widget. What kind of software are you after? Could suggest loads, but it may not be any use to you

I bought myself a Macbook for my birthday 2 years ago and just got the message saying the battery needs serviced, so the newer long life batteries should be fine (I'm assuming the 7 weeks is since it was built, boats take about 6 weeks to get over here from the Far East).
