I have got a 7.2 battery

Don't know about larger batteries,
the grip BG-E5 takes 2 batteries, will also take AA's

Mines a 7.4 1080, the 450D's batteries are supposed to be a step up from those used in 400d's etc.

The 7.2 or 7.4 isn't too important and the capacity is measured in mAh. The value will likely be somewhere between 1000mAh and 2000mAh....the larger the number, the greater the capacity.
