I MAC Advice

Hi Guys

I see that Apple have just reduced the price of the IMac 20 to £799 and the 24 to £1049 since the introduction of the new 21.5 and 27 inch models.

Would I be safe in buying one of the discounted models or should I pay the extra and go for the latest model.

I only use the desktop for photo editing and the normal emailing, web searching etc. I do not use it for games ! and already have a Mac Pro book

Personally I would go for the 20" iMac due to the 6bit screen, but there are plenty of people here with the 24" iMac who are happy with them.

Avoid the 20" due to the display, the 24's are 8 Bit. Not sure about the new ones.

If I were buying now, I'd buy the 27" quad core, but I'm happy enough working on my 24" to not justify upgrading.
