It's Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day this Sunday, apparently.

Just need to get some film for it now.

Oooo, this looks fun! I'm off to have a look for some decent card around the office. Might have to liberate some pritstick (other stick glues are available) and use some fine printing services. I'm sure the postman will once again leave the gift of red elastic bands everywhere! I wonder if Snappy Snaps will have some old film reels?!

Blue Peter eat your heart out!

I so want to make one of these that obviously is made out of a cornflake box and take it to a wedding! That would be funny.

I have some film and cardboard........ Must resist..... No.... Ok I'm making one too.

Looking forward to seeing the results

I made a digital one!

I cut a disc of black card and made a pinhole as small as possible with a red hot pin. the first three holes were too big, the final hole which was about 0.25mm in diameter created a blurred but recognisable image.

I used the panasonic GF-1 set in menu to work without lens and set exposure at 400 iso. Pinhole lens was set about 20mm from sensor and pinhole diameter was about 0.25mm so f number is 20/0.25 = F80.

Correct exposure was 20th of a second @f80.

Film one is better because digital sensor is too small, 120 film ideal I think. unless you've got Hasseblad digital back!!
