About six months ago i sold my Canon fit Sigma EX DG 50mm f1.4 to buy a Canon 35mm f2 IS.
Now don't misunderstand me! I love the 35mm and think it's a fabulous lens, but i do miss having a 50mm!
What's got me thinking is, is it worth going for a second hand canon 50mm 1.8 or a new Yongnuo 50mm 1.8? it'd be primarily for my 5D3?
When i say "is it worth it"? i mean, is a budget 50mm going to work well with the 5D? (or maybe still my 1D3?), it won't be used for anything more than a walkaround as i've always had a 50mm for my SLR/DSLR's and have always found them quite inspiring!
I don't have the spare cash for anything 'better' and i don't want to sell anything to finance anything better! after all, at around £40, is it really a gamble? (prob answered my own question there!!!)
