I Really Envy The Pro's

Not all the time but last night at the West Midlands league game under floodlights my thoughts turned to those equipment festooned guys at Wembley or Anfield etc.

Let me explain I was shooting with my trusty 400D Canon 70-210 f4 and 1600 ASA and with that lot under some iffy lights I was getting a rather grainy 125th @ f4 and stopping action was hard work.

At half time my thoughts wandered
Much better lights another 2 stops
An f 2.8 lens another stop
A D3 or 1D with perfectly usable 6400ASA another 2 stops

!/200th @f4 ahhhhh luxury so lets hope the lottery comes up this week

Tell you something, those don't sound much worse than the lights at Victoria Park, home to Hartlepool United, like shooting under a candle...

It just reminded me of a time, many years ago, when I sat with some friends and shared a packet of "Sainsbry Sixes" biscuits. One of them said, "Mmmm, I really like these Sainsbury Sixes, where did you get them?" :bang:
