I want to buy a canon 600d, Are all the equipment Right?

Hi i am new to this Photography world and i was wondering If all the products i want to buy for my Canon 600d Eos Camera which Comes with 18-55mm & 55-250mm lenses.

I am getting this new camera because i wanted to start Making Videos On youtube also Take Incredible photos.

So today i was on the internet and i was picking out a few Equipment for it and this was what i Needed And the Equipment i was buying.

I Need help if everything i've picked out is right?
I didn't want to purchase something Then realise it wasn't meant for my camera.

The memory card is not just for video - it will work perfectly for still photography too. Personally I wouldn't choose a case that had "Canon" written on it as it advertises that you are carrying expensive camera equipment - I'd prefer a bag that doesn't look like a camera case at all, but that's personal choice!

By the way, I changed the memory card im buying.
because i was looking as what differences 30mbs and 45mbs had,
And people said that they have had problems with it and they
also bought it on ebay.
So i decided to get one off harvey norman.

I wouldn't buy a memory card on ebay. Been there, done that, and got fakes.

Amazon should be OK as long as it's Amazon themselves selling it and not Marketplace.

I usually buy Sandisk 45MB/s SD and 60MB/s CF cards for my 5DIII and 60D from MyMemory (www.mymemory.co.uk): good prices and speedy delivery.

Certainly agree about not advertising your camera.

This is down to personal preference but I like my camera gear in a rucksack. It is big enough to hold all the current gear and it is handy having a bit of spare room for the future. It just works for me. Also as small/medium sized rucksacks are common, one with camera gear blends a bit easier into the background.

I have not had any experience of this myself but have read on here and other forums that some memory card on Ebay which seem a good deal are poor quality.

Generally you'd expect to get a lens cap with the lens so you shouldn't have to buy an extra one. But if it doesn't come with one, then it is a good idea for protection when not in use.

Tripod mounts are a standard fitting, so any modern one will work with your camera. I wouldn't recommend buying one without seeing it as you may get a surprise about how big and heavy it is! Try to look at some in a local camera shop first. You should be able to get a decent quality one for around £100. I've used Manfrotto tripods for years and always been happy with them, but other people have their favourites.

Yes I will just purchase lens cap on eBay. I don't know if it comes with one but ill re-check the description of the camera I'm buying.

Harvey Norman is an furniture store, Cooking appliances,Hair and it also has technology that's where I usually get it from.

I just went on the manfrotto Australia website looked at the support side and clicked on tripods and realised that there is a head size for each tripod? How do I find out what size is mine?

I also realised that there are photographic tripods and video tripods? What's the difference? I want to video and take photos, with a same tripod.

Any of those would be fine for stills photography. The first two come with ball-and-socket heads which have a single control that tightens and loosens the head. When loose, the head rotates around a ball in any direction, then you tighten it at the point you want it. The third link appears to have a pan-and tilt head which normally has separate controls to lock the different directions of movement. That works better for video as you can set the vertical angle of the camera and then lock it, but still be able to pan horizontally to follow movement smoothly. So if you want to do a lot of video that might be a better option. It's fine with stills photography as well although just takes a little bit longer to set up.

Oh ok Thanks, i will purchase one of those. Though i have 2 more questions. Ive seen some tripods have like this thing they hold and move in any direction to video like vertically/Horizontally, is that what you are talking about the last one?

Also, Do i have to purchase a certain head for it to fit my camera?

That all looks OK to me, and everything will work fine together. You'll end up with an extra lens hood for a lens you don't have, but for the price that's not a problem! Whether it's the best combination for you, only you can say, so don't shoot me if you don't like it
