i1 display2 monitor calibration doesnt look right..

I just calibrated my dell U2711 and things dont look right at all to me. I thought this text box should be white but it looks kind green to me.

Also, I cant get the other monitor to look the same at all. There doesnt seem to be a way to calibrate two monitors...

i must be doing something wrong as I went through again and it asked me to adjust my brightness all the way down to about 23. Now things look more green and even duller...

On my U2410s, brightness is down at 18 for 120 cD/m2

What OS are you using?

I remember when I first calibrated my monitor I swore the colours were off, could it be you have just done it and are used to the old settings? Maybe give it a while and go back to it?

i tried calibrating my other dell monitor its a 24'' and the two screens look totally different!

should white look white though?

Yeah, seems strange that and also that both screens are totally different. You done all software updates etc. I presume? I am stumped, fingers crossed someone turns up who can help soon mate.

There are many different shades of white. The whiteness is all relative....

Just moved onto the laptop now and I notice that the reply boxes on this forum are blue and the quick reply is white but on the 27" everything is white.

Im very confused as to whats going on!

When you go through, are you able to get brightness and everything in the green section?

What does the final reading say, where it gives the before and after readings? Does it say the monitor is calibrated well?
