i7 5500U Processor

Sorry if this has been asked before but I am looking at getting a 2nd hand laptop to do a bit of photo editing on. Basically will a I7 5500u processor with 12gb ram run lightroom and photoshop cloud?

I have two old laptops at home that run Lightroom Classic CC and Photoshop CC - one is an i3 and the other an i5 from circa 2010. The i3 struggles to habe both programa open at the same time but my new i5 desktop, on the other hand, barely notices both these and several other apps running together

Thanks for the reply Steve, I have a desktop already that should in theory run both but always falls over as soon as I open lightroom, photoshop is fine. On paper the I7 5500U should be alright, just really wanted to check if someone had a real world experience.
