iCap Pro

yup.. mines a bit bent and wrecked now but use it when raining and when sunny...

They are excellent. At half time you can just pick it up by the top and carry it to the other end of the pitch with the laptop card reader your gloves extra cards and hand warmers all sat safe inside as you pull your gear behind you. Great time saver.

Also whilst sat down you can pick it up by the top and plonk it down at either side or on your knee or wherever. Just make sure you get the correct size.

Thanks, that's really good to know. Very handy that you can just pick it up and carry it with you, defo a time saver!

Will get the Mid one as my screen is 15.6 (y)

I have a similar sized laptop to you and I went with the bigger iCap. Personal preference but it gives a bit more room inside for card reader, USB devices, cables and anything else you might want to have in there.

yes same here.. i thought i had done wrong getting bigger icap at first.. but when you plug a card reader in the side its just about right (just the usb adds the extra room even if you put reader elsewhere) with a 15.6 laptop..

Make sure you get the front cover.. cant recall if optional or not?

I think it comes with it these days. Certainly essential as if it's heavy rain or the wind is blowing the rain in then being waterproof the water collects inside quickly.

is that as a result of lots of use or not good design / robustness

i think i must have folded it wrong... however it must be common because there are videos on how to fold if bent ..

I've got the iCap Mid Pro which I bought on Amazon in March for £78. Never used it and will be up for sale when I get my finger out as no longer do sport photography. Just thought I'd throw that in

They're great bits of kit to have, though I always feel like I'm going to break it when folding it up!

I used mine for the first time last weekend.

Not sure if I folded it up properly though lol.

More interested in getting it in my laptop bag and down to the train station!

Would certainly benefit from an easier folding design :)

I've never bothered to fold mine back down to the small size to fit in the bag thing again. Quite happy to just unzip it and leave it at the bigger size. Sits nicely on top of my Think-Tank roller bag with the Velcro strapped around the handles.
