I do quite like the idea of this, and wonder if how tight he sits in the frame is a little too much. I would have liked to have seen a bit more detail..in the face/hands. etc.

I went for the tight crop because there was a lot going on in the background.

I see what you mean about the detail. I think I pushed the effect a little too far with this one. Like a kid with a new toy.

I can understand the tight crop in those instances. In that case I'd try re-processing if possible
