OK, in a nutshell, I need to redo a video for an awareness campaign. I was a little naughty when I made it (and although I do claim ignorance, I know it's not really an excuse) so I need to shoot some images. I had been wrongly told that images online could be used blah blah blah, so most of the images used are images that I nabbed from google images.

I need to shoot a fair few images.

things like....

fire,
pain (lots of pain shots)
hugs
ice
loneliness and depression

however, I don't really have access to many people who would be willing to help and pose for me.

Any suggestions for how I can get around the issue of lack of models? :thinking:

I know, not an easy thing and I shouldn't have been so much of a divvy, but...well i was and I'm trying to fix it.
 
That's a really good idea Gary, but I'm not sure how feasable it is.

The reason that it might not be feasable is cause (rolls eyes at how stupid it is) my disability means that I can't always make plans and keep them and I can only shoot for a short time. It also has an uncanny knack of stopping my hands from working at the most inconvenient times (like this morning when I wanted to go and get sunrise shots...and couldn't move my stupid hands). So if I ask a drama group and plan it, on the day I might not be able to shoot, or I may only be able to shoot one or 2. I just don't want to seem like I'm messing people around, it's definately worth looking into when I'm having a good few days though.

Could get smoe photo's of a finger that has been chopped off taken in the hospital if need, sure my mate won't mind... Depends how gruesome you want as these are pretty grim!

He lost a fight with and cambelt/cogs!
 
One thing I will say is that if you go via flickr, and find some images, you could always drop them a note [hover over their profile picture] and ask them if they will OK your using it. If it's for charity, there's a not unreasonable chance they'll say yes [although if it were me, I'd want a copy!]
 
For some shots, can't you ask family/friends? That way, if you are feeling your best on the day, you could more easily re-arrange? I would offer to help, but you are too far away!
 
I have my best friend and her fiance who are going to help and possibly my other close friend, but tbh most of them won't help, in fact I doubt any of the family would help at all. Sad but true. Admittedly though I don't have many friends, lots of people who I talk to and be pleasant to etc, but not many friends, if that makess sense? Going to ask 2 of my nieces but in all truth I doubt they will, - they'll be too busy sucking the faces off their boyfriends.
