I am going back to B&W after a break of 20 years when I used FP4 / HP5 and home processed.
I will be using comercial process, as no darkroom now and see on EBay that as well as the old favotite films, Ilford Delta Professional is available at around the same price.
Advice on pros/cons of Delta would be much appreciated.
Adrian..

Most of the sellers on eBum aren't that cheap anymore.

Another vote for 7dayshop here, but it's also worth subscribing to Calumet newsletter as they occasionally have offers on.

i'd have to agree with cherry rig, really nice tones/gradients with what i can only think of describing as an honest grain.

as an added bonus for me it reminds me of double darkroom sessions at uni with the blonde on my course.

I always hated both FP4 and HP5 but the delta is much more my kinda bag. I find it smoother and just somehow more forgiving when it comes to printing, so you can push your ideas further.
