Time I got another batch of BW, any preference? Bearing in mind I like the more contrasty type stuff should I stick with HP5 maybe?

PS - we due for a bulk buy again yet at all?

I've used some Adox CHS50, most of it in a pinhole but also in my Agfa Clack.

Some of the results here...

I've used both the 25 and 100 Adox films, across 135, 120 and 5x4.

My advice would be to use at least a yellow filter if landscaping, but don't use a red, it is barely sensitive to red light so you will get almost nothing.

I rate the 100 at about EI 80, but I would suggest treat the first film as a test roll and bracket every shot in half stop increments, then process and see which exposure works best. I wasted a couple (or more:cautious:) rolls because I didn't bother.

It is a wonderful film, full of character, but suffers from the occassional emulsion flaw, although I haven't had one in the smaller formats. Also Gandhi has had some amazing result with his, just shows what can be done with "old" technology. BTW, I've not seen him around for ages, does anyone know where he's wandered off to?
