I'll add my sympathies too. I'm a dog man (currently have three). I lost my old collie last year when she was 15. I too cried like a baby......

Well Mewww is now at rest in the very place he liked to lay in our garden in the sunshine.

Strange thing happened though. Our other cat Pogle came out into the garden, looked at Mewww as my wife was saying her goodbyes, and then he trotted off.

A few moments later he came back with a bird in his mouth. It was a shame he caught this particular bird as it was one of several Robins that live in our garden. However he bought it back lifeless in his mouth. A parting gift for Mewww perhaps?

Perhaps a tad ironic but we buried the poor Robin with Mewww...and clipped Pogle's ear for being a meany and killing such a lovely bird.
