So I read Janice's thread and I took SERIOUS note of her suggestion to 'be happy with a few spots' :rules:

That was my problem.......being a Virgo I just couldnt put up with those spots left round the edges!!

It had to be COMPLETELY clean or it wasnt worth having done the job!

I wont care about the spots at the edge ever again!!

I'm trying not to care about the spots....and of course the fact that I only had 5 sensor swabs has helped LOTS because I can't do any more anyway.

(Although I must confess to looking at the pec*pad wipes and wondering if I could cut a few of those up and have a go at a DIY swab or two . But I only have to read warnings of 'DANGER don't do that' with this sort of thing and I get scared )

Don't cut the pecpads up. They are lint free when they are manufactured, hence their suitability for sensor cleaning.

Once you cut them, they will release strands/lint
