I have a few quid burning a hole in my pocket and if I don't spend it on camera gear I will end up with a fence for the back garden or some such tat. £1000 is my budget.
Currently I have.
5d mk 2 - mostly used for the odd wedding I shoot. I use it from time to time for other stuff, but very infrequently.
1d mk 111. My current camera of choice. I love using this. Yes it's a big beast, but feels finely balance with a lens on and I get less back pain carrying this for a day than my other gear. I love the image quality etc too.
7d. I bought this on a whim so I could use it on an up and coming holiday in Florida. It owes me less than the other 2 so I'm not so worried about it.
Lenses.
70-200 f2.8 IS (brilliant)
135 F2 (brilliant)
50mm sigma 1.4 (lovely but little used)
Tokens 12-24 (little used but does a good job)
24-70 f2.8 (nice lens but not long enough for me as a general lens)
28-135 (bought this for the Florida holiday only)
Now.......
Do I trade the 5d mk2 and 7d for a 5d mk3?
Do the same for a 1d mk4
Buy a 24-105 as a nice walk round, punt the 28-135 and retire the 24-70 from general use
Buy a 300mm f4 for the occasional athletics / Motorsport stuff I do?
I just can't make my mind up. Sorry about the rambling by the way, but what would you buy?
