Im feeling really bad, you know the bad I mean, like when you know you've done wrong but you keep shtum about it.

Well I cant live with it any more and I have come to confess.

It all started as I was falling asleep and started to dream.
It was a nice dream to start with, I was getting sent places to take pics for magazines and papers, then I was getting brilliant sporting assignments, that's when the trouble started.
I was have to cover some sporting event but didn't have the Glass for it, so I looked around for some second hand Nikon lens's ( like 600mm prime) but couldn't find any.

The only other option was to sell all my gear and buy a canon camera as there's plenty of second hand stuff floating around.
So in my dream I sold my Nikon gear and brought some canon gear.
I can remember feeling deflated when I got because I just wasn't used to the layout and the feel. then I woke up and had to go and check my camera bag.
Phew It was all OK and I realized I had just had a very bad nightmare.

So I just want to say to my fellow Nikonians and the Nikon God that im sorry
I wont look at anymore canon stuff or compare prices again.:'(:'(:'(

And to the GrimCanon Reaper, you nearly got me, but I was to strong for you.:razz::razz::razz:

This balances out the other thread in Equipment from the guy who's moving to Canon from Nikon I suppose..

Now we just need a few threads from people dumping Nikon/Canon for Sony! :D

That wasn't a dream. A nightmare more like. You have my sympathy fellow Nikon friend. Just be grateful that you woke up. Counselling isn't too expensive these days.

Canonia is a beautiful, calm and relaxing place.
Everyone I know who has been to Nikonia has always returned with the darkside burning at their souls, eating away at the passion they used to have for fellow photographer and use Optech straps to try to deceive Canonians :D

I have realised it was a bad BAD move and come to my senses....must have been a bad day at work or summat.....I DO APPOLOGISE TO MY FELLOW NIKON USERS .... please forgive me for I have sinned.............:lol:

NIKON through n through ....got to try the 3x before I decide which will be in 2017 so not long to wait to get a canon thats as good:lol:
 
It's a nightmare when you wake up & find you bought Canon & now regret it.

lol, I know what you mean, I have a basic nikon kit, but upgrading to D300s and 2 top lenses. OR get a Canon 5d mk2 :S Think i'll be sticking with Nikon though, Just love the way it feels in my hands compared to Canons.

Back on topic, I prefer my sillyness in the morning, before breakfast, get it out of the way nicely to make way for the mundane. :lol:
 
No...I need a whole pot of coffee and an hour of calm before I'm even vaguely human - it's why I get all of my ranting done early on...

a D3 doesn't work right without at least three lenses in the bag...she must be made to understand that - she wouldn't go out with just lipstick and no eye-liner...you can't go out without a tele-lens...seemples...

God how I love my Nikon. I was playing at two weddings today in church. The togs at the weddings had Canons (I pity the fools). But their Canons sounded so...bzip bzip.

Whereas Nikons sound so manly. KACHUNK! I TOOK YO PICTURE FOOW!

Well aren't Nikon sensors made by Sony? So surely it's a joint Nikon/Sony god then??!!
 
do nikon users use nikon lenses...i tried to and managed to sell them at the end
but when i got a minolta i used tamron...;)
