I know its a bit noisy but worth it for the bird's expression.
It was not happy that I stayed to take its photo.

Good spot and pose, a blackbird in snow is always a difficult shot to capture well.

I agree, unless the light is hitting the feathers in the correct way there is no definition and if you increase the exposure it becomes grainy.
Robins are so much more photogenic!
