I currently have an iMac 21 i3 .. upgraded to 8GB of RAM and bought in oct 2010. Love it!

Best gadget ever bought but i dont have get annoyed having to wander off upstairs and sit on my own to play with it!

Would i be better off selling it to buy myself a Macbook Pro 15''?

Only you can answer that one. There are a few questions to consider:

What do you use the iMac for?
Can the MBP to the same?
Will the MBP to everything you want it to?
Won't you miss being upstairs and playing with yourself in privacy?

:plusone: This is my current set up. Since I've had the iPad I don't even think my laptop (Windows) has been switched on....

Plus, you have a hell of a lot of RAM in that iMac, to get anywhere near the performance you'd need the top of the range MBP.

photo editing, surfing, music, streaming etc etc

MBP & iMac will do the same

If i still want my own company i can take the macbook upstairs on a desk
