Been using a Sigma 17-70mm as a walkabout lens for a while, found it pretty good with my 40D.
I was wondering how the quality compares with a 10-20mm Sigma, or the Tonkia 11-16mm 2.8? Anyone got any experience with either of these and the Sigma 17-70mm?
I use a 50mm 1.8 nifty fifty when shooting portrait stuff as the quality probably can't be beat without spending alot for a zoom lens equivelent.
Thinking of adding a wide lens to the collection but want to know how much I'll use it, i.e I want the quality to be good as well as the benefit of the wider range. Budget is £250 max secondhand so hence looking at the Sigma and ther Tonkia.
