Images look different on Photobucket

I have noticed that images I have uploaded to Photobucket look different to the same ones on my Mac.

Images uploaded to my gallery on here look the same as on my Mac.

Here is an example

Any thoughts or solutions welcomed

I have been doing a bit of research as I am querying uploads at the minute too.

I have found out that saving the picture under sRGB profile in photoshop (for e.g.) results in a better picutre on uploads.

I think I have found the problem, in the Save As dialogue box I had not checked the ICC Profile option.

Did you confirm this as your problem?

I ask as just tonight, I noticed an image I posted on the forum (hosted on Photobucket) look a bit washed out when compared with the same image (edited just with a crop) I posted later (hosted on the forum gallery).

Checking the ICC Profile box wouldn't have an effect would it?

I just checked by uploading this file to photobucket and flickr and tested in firefox with colour management turned on and also chrome (which doesn't support colour profiles)

It seems photobucket strips colour profiles.

If you use the "Save for web" option in photoshop, it should help with the colour problem.
