Hi

I am looking for an image representing Belgium.
It could be a symbol, a monument, famous food, anything really.

I was first thinking of belgium chocolate but I can't find a picture that I like.

Any idea?

Thanks

Manekin pis? Medieval towns, 1st world war graves, Magritte, chocolate, frites and mayonnaise, strong Belgium beer and a population that speaks many languages.

Or being Christmas, maybe this is more apt:

The saxophone was invented by a Belgian, but, oddly, not many people seem to know that.

Whilst they might recognise his artwork or representations of it (a la Thomas Crown), I suspect that more people will have heard of Jules Maigret then him!
But Maigret ain't real...

...or Belgian. :D

I spent a few days in Ghent earlier in 2016. Not sure if any of the pics shout "Belgium" but have a look :) http://photodiva.zenfolio.com/p949573044

Good set (although say dated June 2015 - how time flies)
We went in July this year, when the music festival was on. Not the best time to drive to a hotel in the centre as they close all the roads after 2pm.

We went to Ypres last year, which of course has the Menin Gate and daily remembrance ceremonies.
