I think this shoot went well i just want any critique on pose, expression, focus etc. These are both for use in a CV. The client was happy with the shots but am always looking to improve.

Don't do many portraits myself so am not commenting from an 'expert' point of view ...

I think the full square on pose detracts. A more sideways on stance but still with her looking at the camera would be better, in my view

Job applications have moved on a lot since my day so .....?do CV images need to 'say' something about the applicant these days.

Eg a hint if personality/some kind of prop to make the candidate memorable amongst maybe 100s of applicants.
