You get these sitting in the garden while I slog round in the mud, luck sod, but really beautiful, been trying to get some of these for ages.
 
What ARE you putting on those sticks? :p

#2 is easily the pick of the bunch Mike ... (y) ... not sure about the very dark area above the LTT in the third ... :shrug:

Hi All,

sorry about the background but these are severly overexposed as it turned real dark when they put in an appearance hence the burnt out sky behind. If you saw the originals all you would see would be black blobs on sticks :D

They were only here for a few minutes and didn't sit anywhere decent for a good shot/background, hopefully they will be back sometime soon.

these are like little raiding parties... I got about 6 or 7 of these little dudes at the weekend

they'd come in all mobbed up and then dash off for a while
 
really nice shots mike I love these little birds My fav is the second one I saw some of these a few days ago but I was too slow
