Our verges are havens for wild plants. In 2020 in the first lockdown, confined to tramping the lanes rather than the hills, I started a photo project identifying the plants I found on my walks - same lanes, every day, I had to do something to keep vaguely sane. I've continued as and when I find any I missed and I have over 130 different plants, plus about 35 trees and grasses (I haven't done all of them). Mine are just record shots. These are lovely.
