I recently bought a Eos 20d with a 18-55 lens, anyway last weekend I took a few shots in overcast conditions and they were all too dark, so this afternoon I thought it was time to explore a bit better so I would go and play in the garden and take some pictures of the blue bells, well this little chap caught my attention:

I now need to add a macro lens to my wanted list

Decent enough shots Luke, all a bit samey though.
Colours and DOF are nice and focus looks good too. (y)
Shame you couldn't have got in just that little bit closer to get more detail on the spider.
For a cheap introduction to macro/close up keep an eye out for a Raynox DCR-250 macro adapter, you won't believe how well it works on the 18-55 and they only cost around £40!
