Spotted these in the garden a few minutes ago. They look like hoverflies but, if I am correct, I don't know what species.

Btw when I try to open it in flikr I just get a black page.

Don't know what is happening with Flickr, Brian. I've had a few problems lately which I haven't, as yet been able to sort, but a black page is a new one.

They look like marmalade hoverflies to me.

You have the images permission set to private.
You can share the image, but people can't see it directly from / on your flickr page.

Looking directly at your flickr page you have one image and that's a toad.

I'll have a look at the settings in Flickr. About three months ago or si it all worked; I think I must have altered something inadvertently.
