That is the funniest Osprey shot I've seen...did he fly afterwards? Birds in the States tend not to spook as much as the ones we get here (same for most species).. I blame the Victorians...

I am please my Osprey raised a few smiles.

Other than the 'don't you go pointing that thing up there' look she gave me, she was fairly calm high on her fishing tree, and didn't fly even when my family & I continued to walk beneath her tree.

Great expression of a great bird. I spent two seasons guarding an osprey nest all night for about 6 weeks in Perthshire.
