Indoors with M43 & IBIS?

Hi all,

I'm looking at getting into photographing Church interiors, and whilst I have a tripod which I use for landscapes, I don't like the idea of lugging a tripod around in a Church. I'm a bit self conscious and Tbh keeping away from people is what I like about landscape photography.

I'm thinking about buying a M43 system as it appeals for other types of photography - I'm currently using vintage Nikon gear - and am wondering how good IBIS is on the older Olympus cameras? Can I get away with hand holding in a Church? Do I need to match up IBIS with in-lens stabilisation? I've been specifically looking at an M1 Mk2.

Would value any advice!

Thanks.

Olympus (and Panasonic) has probably the best IBIS around. For normal use you don't need the added luxury of a compatible stabilised lens.
