Ayrshire Moon last night, in a very cold and dark sky. Quite happy with the result, taken with a Sigma 70-300mm DG macro.

Thanks Rocky, it took four tries to get the exposure right and get some detail.

Considering the 70-300 is one of Sigma's cheaper lenses, I'm very pleased with it.

Lovely shot, nice detail there too. Inspired me to have another go at the moon now its really dark in the evenings again
