Insect eyes

Took these a couple of days ago. First is some sort of fly that would leave me alone, an ID would be great as it seemed to like me a bit too much The second is a newly emerged Damsel still clinging to a reed while drying out.
Finally had to fish this Damsel (female Common Blue I think) out of the pond. Took a couple of image before putting it out of the way to recover.
