Hey Peeps.

Im in dire need of some inspritation to get out and about with my camera! i like all types of photography really, but im strugling at the moment. the other day i was given the whole day to do what i wanted, so i decided to go out with the camera, after an hour or so driving aimlessly about i just ended up having a browse round local shops!

im finding the area not too interesting at the moment, which i know its not!.

can anyone suggest some ideas for me?

also any areas for "easy" wild life shots, by easy i mean an abundance of wild life. not having to sit in a boggy field for 3 hours hoping to see a blue tit...

i think one of the main problems are that i am tending to be a bit fussy with taking photos now, if i don't think ill capture something worth keeping ill just be wasting time. and adding to the 100gb of photos already stored on my PC!!

Cheers

I don't know the area, and this isn't wildlife related, but one thing I found interesting last time I was in a little rut was to look up at buildings. You get some really interesting perspectives and shapes and usually a nice mix of old and new styles, often in an area that you know well.

It's something to try next time you end up wandering round the shops!

A good start would be to go on flickr and find groups within the Surrey area to see if there is locatin inspiration there. Also try googling view of Surrey, Surrey Photoraphy (images).

Might give you some ideas

Possibly a bit late now, but have a browse through a Surrey calendar, will give you an idea of whats available in Surrey.

As mentioned, easy wildlife would be the deer in Bushy and Richmond Park.

Or how about coming up with a project where you photograph old churches or windmills etc etc. You'll have to do a bit of research first, but it will get you out and about in Surrey and give you something to focus on. It is hard when you have a day to spend on your photography with nothing in mind to do.

As well as Flickr (as mentioned above) have a look at the photographs posted here you may get some inspiration.
