Yes
Been into photography for a while now, and ive now got a 400d. I see so many great photo's of all different subjects, and wish I coudl produce something as good. Yes I admit its not gong to happen over night. Basically iam after some words of advice from you guys, I seem to be stuck in a rut really at the mo.

I really want to head out there and takes loads of photos, but iam struggling for any inspiration. Ive got stacks of books to read at some point to help me with my techniques and how to use the camera etc. Iam slowly learning PS aswell by doing a night school although thats on hold at the minute.

Iam not really sure of the purpose of this thread, just after ideas really of maybe where to go or what to shot.

buy understanding exposure by bryan peterson, its allways mentioned on here, and then i bought it and found that I now know so much more than I thought I did! the book makes it so easy to understand some things that might not make so much sense now.

second, get out shooting, which is something i need to do!

It always helps to shoot something that you already have an interest in to get to grips with the technicalities. What hobbies do you have? Even if something seems too difficult to start with, bear with it and it'll become easier.

Good luck :)

My inspiration comes from seeing other peoples photos and finding the styles that I like and then going out and trying it for myself.

but good point about adding the photography to your other hobbies and interests!
