In an effort to combat misinformation and fake news, Instagram recently rolled out a new feature that flags fake photos. But now some photographers are wondering whether the system is going too far and making it harder to share and view certain types of photography.

After all these years, I've finally closed down my Instagram account. I probably should have done it when Facebook bought them.

PS I hope I posted this in the right place.

That photo was a fake?! o_O You mean there's no such thing as a range of mountains the same colour as a tube of refreshers?! If the rainbow coloured mountains aren't real then where do they think all the unicorns live? Wait a minute, they're not saying those are fake too? I'm not sure I can cope with this world anymore... it's just so cruel!

I remember when Instagram was for photographers to share photography taken on their phones with other photographers.
Now it’s just another facetwitchat full of fake images from fake people trying to be famous.
