"Instagram will send you your entry link all you need to do is don’t click on it yet screenshot it send it to me and I’ll send it to my sponsor immediately thanks for your help

The link in question is a password reset link for my account. I've reported the account that sent the DM for fraud and blocked them.
I guess somebody somewhere is falling for these scams so sharing in case someone is not sure and this turns up in their search results.
