Is there a better way to install fonts than highlight them, then right click install?

as it asks me if I want to overwrite or not for some of them and I cant say overwrite all
 
Go to the fonts folder in CP, File > Install New Font (you might need to press Alt to make the menu appear). Now you can choose the folder to install multiple fonts from (y)
 
a simple drag and drop into the fonts folder via control panel will suffice ;);)
 
A quick word of warning here, do not install heaps of fonts into the windows fonts folder!

It slows everything down dramatically.

Mine seems to run fine, I have over 2000 fonts in my folder which I use for web design etc

system is

AMD64 5200+
3Gb DDR2
ATI HD2600 pro gfx
250Gb Seagate HDD
 
A quick word of warning here, do not install heaps of fonts into the windows fonts folder!

It slows everything down dramatically.

The only thing that I found it slowed down was boot time for some reason. But generally it's a bad idea to install too many fonts, especially ones that you'll never use.
